Hello! My name is Jenna Lee Alldread and I LOVE TO MAKE STUFF! I am at my happiest creating characters, playing with sewing machines and using printmaking techniques to create images and creations. I hope you enjoy looking through my website. If you'd like to get in touch about a potential commission or project, please do email me: firstname.lastname@example.org
I work as a Lecturer at Nottingham Trent University and Leeds College of Art, where I love working, being inspired by the students and inspiring them in return. I design and deliver a wide range of practical workshops from textile printing techniques, screen-printing, relief printing, drawing, animation and portfolio development. I am available to hire for workshops. I post examples of the work that I do on my blog, alongside my 'sketchbook' work so you can see my process. If you'd like to get in touch about running a workshop, please do: email@example.com
My research is based around tactile investigation and learning, design thinking and design education. I am a passionate advocate for everyone having access to Art & Design at all levels in their education; as a release for creativity, as a tool to enhance problem solving and creative thinking and as a practical tool for students of all ages to use their hands and create. I hope to contribute my research to the creative sector as my career in Higher Education continues. If you'd like to get in contact regarding speaking at conferences, or research please contact me: firstname.lastname@example.org
Thank you for stopping by!
